Carlo Cannavacciuolo, 27 anni.
Il 5 novembre 2011 viene ucciso nel corso di un tentativo di rapina a Santa Maria La Carità, mentre è in auto con la sua fidanzata.
Quella sera,verso mezzanotte, Carlo Cannavacciuolo è con gli amici e con la fidanzata a festeggiare il suo onomastico. Dopo i festeggiamenti, Carlo va via con la fidanzata e prima di rientrare a casa decide di fermarsi in via Ponticelli. Fermi in auto sono raggiunti da due banditi con il volto coperto e armati di pistola. Uno dei due infrange il finestrino con il braccio così Carlo tenta di fuggire inserendo la retromarcia. Uno dei rapinatori, senza alcuna esitazione, fa fuoco ferendo mortalmente il giovane.
Nel 2013 è stata consegnata ai genitori di Carlo la medaglia d’oro al valor civile alla memoria del loro figlio.
Gli assassini di Carlo sono stati condannati all’ergastolo. Condanna Confermata in Cassazione.

On November 5, 2011 Carlo Cannavacciuolo was killed during an attempted robbery in Santa Maria La Carita, while driving with his girlfriend.
That night, around midnight, Charles Cannavacciuolo was with his friends and his girlfriend to celebrate his name day. After the celebrations, Charles went with his girlfriend and before returning home he decided to stay in Via Ponticelli. Two men in masks with pistols stopped the car that they were in. One of the men broke the car window with his arm and Carlo tries to escape by reversing the car, however one of the robbers fired at Carlo fatally injuring him.
In 2013 the gold medal for civil vaolor was handed over to the parents of Charles in memory of their son.
Carlo's killers were sentenced to life imprisonment, which was confirmed by the supreme court.
